2018 Art Unlimited Photography Workshop with Jenet Stewart
19 & 20 May, Dunedoo
The workshop, which will be conducted over the first weekend of Art Unlimited (Saturday 19th May and Sunday 20th May), will be suitable for photographers of all levels of proficiency. It will cover topics that range from understanding camera settings and their manipulation, to composing portrait photography using natural light, flash and studio lighting. Landscape photography composition will include a location shoot. There will also be a critiquing and editing session.
Jenet Stewart has her own busy photography and design business, Imajenit, based in Dubbo, and has photographed extensively throughout regional Australia, including frequent assignments for national magazine R.M.Williams Outback. Celebrities she has photographed include Lisa McCune, Damien Leith, Kerry O’Brien and James Reyne. She has taught photography and graphic design to hundreds of students through Western College, TAFE NSW, as well as privately and to corporate groups, and is the recipient of numerous industry awards and honours.
Jenet is an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers and the Australian Media and Commercial Photographers group, and an Affiliated Member of the Australian Graphic Design Association. She is one of the official judges of the Macquarie Photography Prize.
Places in the Art Unlimited photography workshop are limited to just 15 and are filling fast. Participants need a DSLR or equivalent camera, and ideally, different lenses, light metre, tripod and reflector. If these are not readily available, Jenet will provide some on loan. We will be in touch with participants closer to the event with a full list of what to bring and to finalise loan equipment requirements.
Cost for the 2-day course is $260 and bookings can be made online.
